Financial wellness is an essential part of overall well-being, yet it is often one of the most overlooked aspects of professional and personal growth. From negotiating salaries and building wealth to navigating career transitions, entrepreneurship, and planning for retirement, understanding our finances can open doors to greater confidence, independence, and opportunity.

Join us for Designing Wellness: Building Financial Confidence, Independence & Security, an engaging panel discussion featuring three financial experts who will share their perspectives on developing a healthier relationship with money and creating a stronger financial future.

Our panelists will explore the importance of financial confidence, overcoming common money misconceptions, advocating for your professional worth, building long-term wealth, and navigating the financial challenges that often accompany women’s careers and life transitions. We’ll also discuss the realities of entrepreneurship, financial decision-making, and finding a balance between enjoying life today and preparing for tomorrow.

Whether you’re just beginning your career, growing your business, pursuing leadership opportunities, or thinking about retirement, this conversation will offer valuable insights and practical takeaways to help you take greater control of your financial future.

A licensed tax professional with a decade of experience in accounting, tax strategy, and leadership coaching, Katherine helps founders turn high income into clearer decisions, stronger cash flow, business stability, and long-term wealth. Her work helps founders understand why financial pressure is happening, see what their numbers are really saying, and decide what they want money to do next. A former professional storyteller, Katherine is known for making complex financial concepts human, practical, and actionable. She has been featured by Business Insider, VICE Media, Discover Card, and The Penny Hoarder.

Kelsa Dickey is the creator of the SpendFirst® methodology and the founder of Financial Coach Academy®. She has spent nearly two decades coaching real clients and has trained over 700 financial coaches through her programs. Her team has helped over 1,100 people pay off $38 million in debt and save more than $112 million. Her book, SpendFirst: The Surprisingly Simple System to Stop Stressing About Money, published in November of 2026.

Jessica Jones  starts working with clients by asking them what they need that day. “I like to ask what they hope to accomplish in the first appointment. I listen to my prospects and clients and pick up on their needs. Then I can determine how I can bring value and provide solutions.” She holds a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) credential from The American College of Financial Services.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading novels, volunteering at Focus on Home, being a cheer mom, traveling with her husband, and loving her toy poodle dog, Ellie. She feels being a woman sets her apart, and it’s important for her clients to know she’s an active listener and looks at clients’ whole picture, not just one part. “I give them the floor to freely share their goals and let them know how I can partner with them to help attain their goals. I bring compassion and empathy to each situation I’m faced with.”
