Architecture after Five is free to our AIA, Associate AIA and Allied members and their guests.
Architecture after Five is meant to bring the local A/E/C community together throughout the year for some much needed social time.
We are booked through 2027 and are now scheduling for 2028. Because so many are interested in hosting, we only allow companies to host every three years.

HOSTING ARCHITECTURE AFTER 5
What is Architecture after 5? Architecture after 5 is an opportunity for the Architecture / Engineering / Construction industry to get together for some much-needed social time. Architecture after 5 is held the 3rd or 4th Thursday on alternating months of the AIA Central Oklahoma Luncheons.
Who can host Architecture after 5? AIA reaches out to its member firms and Allied members to host Architecture after 5 events. Those hosting the event MUST BE a member- Architectural Firm or an Allied member.
What does 3hosting involve? The host is responsible for arranging for food and beverage for the evening to include the cost of the food and beverage. AIA will promote the event and the host through AIA Weekly, and on-line newsletter, and special invitations. AIACOC will also reservations and give a final number to the host four days prior to the event. In general, the host can plan on an average of 45 people. The host is welcome to make a short presentation about their company during the Architecture after 5 reception if they choose.
What else do I need to know? The host is welcome to invite non-AIA members (the guest list is up to the host); however the event should remain with the branding AIACOC has developed call Architecture after 5. AIACOC prefers that Architecture after 5 not be combined with other open houses etc. AIA is happy to help our members promote their independent open houses, not part of Architecture after 5, through our AIA Weekly online
How do I get signed up to host Architecture after 5? AIA schedules and plans Architecture after 5 events several years in advance. If you are interested in hosting, contact the AIA Central Oklahoma Office at melissa@aiacoc.org to discuss available dates.
