September AIA Luncheon
Join us for the September AIA Luncheon on Thursday, September 9th at 11:30 a.m. at the Capitol View Event Center at Old Surety located at 5201 N. Lincoln Blvd. Our program for September will be MAPS: Where Are We Now. Jason Cotton, PE, Managing Partner and Director of Program Management at ADG, will present an update on MAPS3 and what to expect in MAPS4.
Over the past 26-years, Jason Cotton has worked in an around the AEC community of Central Oklahoma. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1998, Jason invested over 20-years in providing professional civil engineering services to a wide range of both public and private clients. Notable projects completed during this time include the First Americans Museum, the 2009 renovation of Oklahoma City’s Myriad Botanical Gardens, the 2015 expansion of University of Oklahoma’s Memorial Stadium, and the 2016 addition of Residential Colleges to the University of Oklahoma’s Norman Campus.
Currently, Jason serves as a Managing Partner and Director of Program Management at ADG here in Oklahoma City. In this role, Jason provides leadership and assistance to municipalities and other organizations on large, complex projects and programs. Jason has built his career on technical problem solving, being open-minded and collaborative with the design community, and never being afraid to say ‘I don’t know…but I will figure it out.’ These characteristics have been important in a wide range of projects and programs, most notably for the Oklahoma City MAPS program.
